Our Curriculum Statement

The Curriculum offered at Leigh Academy Bexley for all our students is broad and balanced and provides them with an opportunity to study a wide range of different subjects.

We have made provision for our students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, so as to promote tolerance towards, and respect for, the different faiths, lifestyles and cultures of other people.

We believe that good teaching, underpinned by a strong curriculum and an effective approach to delivering SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural development) will enable our students to become well rounded and confident young people who are prepared for life in a multi-cultural, modern Britain.
