Year 7 & 8 Sky Studios, Elstree Film Production Trip – Friday 23rd January 2026
We are delighted to invite Year 7 and Year 8 students to take part in a careers trip to Sky Studios Elstree, where they will participate in a film production workshop.
Sky Studios provides immersive learning experiences for students aged 8–18 in film and TV production. During the trip, students will have the opportunity to:
1. Learn about the media industry
2. Create their own content using cutting-edge technology
3. Develop essential digital and creative skills
This programme is designed to inspire future careers in media and is open to all students, not just those already interested in the subject.
The trip will take place on Friday 23rd January 2026. We will leave school at 8.00am, arriving at Sky Studios by 9.00am. The workshop will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm, and we will return to school at approximately 2.00pm. All students should bring a packed lunch, unless they are eligible for and receive free school meals, in which case lunch will be provided.
The cost of the trip is £23 per student, which covers coach travel. Please make payment and confirm your child’s place on the trip using the school’s online payment system, Bromcom. The academy can support Pupil Premium students in cases of hardship.
