Parent Teaching and Learning Workshop – Independent Learning
We are pleased to announce our third parent workshop of this academic year, which will take place on Monday 20th January, between 5.00pm and 6.00pm. This workshop is available to all parents.
This engaging session, led by our Academy Leadership Team members, Mr. Shasore and Ms. Mochnacova, will provide valuable insights into how you can effectively support your child’s learning at home. We will cover essential topics, such as managing screen time, utilising platforms like Sparx and Seneca, and fostering a love for independent study.
In today’s digital age, understanding how to balance technology use while promoting effective study habits is crucial for your child’s success. During the workshop, you will learn practical strategies to help your child navigate their educational resources and develop the skills necessary for self-directed learning. This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain practical strategies to enhance your child’s educational experience and encourage their autonomy in learning.
